NearForm has had the pleasure of collaborating with clients from a multitude of industries around the globe. To give a flavour of the transformative impact of our work, we’ve chosen a few of these projects and told the stories behind them in greater detail.
EY is known globally for its world-class consulting service, helping business owners re-imagine their organizations and embrace change. SMEs represented an underserved market for EY, but entering this market would be a challenge. EY needed to deliver its consultancy expertise without a heavily customised offering, but via a self-service online platform that didn’t need human intervention.
Epicurious is the award-winning, go-to website for serious foodies. Part of the prestigious Condé Nast media group, it has established itself as one of the leading voices in the digital food world. Offering recipes and advice from top chefs and celebrities, the site commands a vast user base with 9.1 million unique visitors per month and 5.3 million followers on social media.
NET-A-PORTER is the world’s premier fashion destination. Founded in 2000, this e-commerce pioneer enjoys over six million visitors to its portal every month. With such a huge volume of fashion-savvy customers – who expect nothing less than a seamless shopping experience across mobile, tablet and desktop – NET-A-PORTER wanted to ensure that it was getting the most from its system. Having previously delivered a successful training programme to one of the company’s development teams, NET-A-PORTER approached our consultancy division for a solution. NearForm was tasked with optimising the performance of the existing system and maximising the team’s use of tools and processes.
The London School of Marketing is a leading educational institution delivering accredited marketing and business qualifications. With a strong future focus on online facilitation, the limitations of the School’s monolithic system were beginning to frustrate its growth. The School was looking for a modern, ultra-usable online education platform that could quickly and easily adapt to business growth, changing markets and new business drivers, while at the same time continuously deliver new features to customers. With time being of the essence, the client set a 12-week lead time for completion.
Helping large enterprises around the world to handle their legal caseloads, i-Sight is a leading provider of data management solutions for incidents and investigations. Due to a significant increase in demand for its services, the company’s existing platform began to show strain. The 15-year-old legacy system, based on Domino Lotus Notes, simply could not cope with the pressure of i-Sight’s expanding portfolio. The company needed to migrate to a new system, one that would deliver powerful performance and responsive design at scale but also guarantee tight access controls to protect sensitive client data.
