They called on us to engineer a ground-up modern solution that could speed deployment and enhance configurability – while maintaining continuity of service for the hundreds of global clients relying on the tool every day.

Recognising that tight collaboration would be pivotal to moving quickly while maintaining key services, together with the client, we fostered a “one team” working style that ensured knowledge sharing and built trust quickly. The client’s deep industry experience, user insights and ambition were met with Nearform’s product engineering expertise, design-led problem solving and creativity.

After the kickoff discovery workshop, the blended team identified top features and priorities to facilitate maximum configurability, reliability and extendability of the newly built solution. Key early decisions guided the project forward: A single tenancy architecture enabled independent configurations per client, enhancing speed, reliability and data security; Weekly deployments meant easier and faster onboarding of clients and using microservices on AWS maximised flexibility and speed.

After fifteen months, the team launched the new solution in APAC and gradually rolled it out across the globe. Now eight years later, the team continues to enhance the solution and deliver consistent value for users.
