Create a cross-platform Choo Electron desktop application with one command
By Yoshua Wuyts

Today we’re announcing the preview release of create-choo-electron: a code generator that allows you to create your next Electron application in mere minutes.

It’s similar to its sibling create-choo-app. But instead of creating a new web app, create-choo-electron creates a fresh Electron application. It comes with a build system, a full main process, and a Choo application in a renderer process. In short: everything you need to get started right away.

To always get the latest version of create-choo-app run it with npx(1):

$ npx create-choo-electron <project_name>

Because this is a preview release, there are still some details being polished. Most notably we’re currently rewriting the Bankai compiler for frictionless builds during development and production.
