What to Expect at NodeConf EU 2022

This year we’re delighted to be hosting NodeConf EU , the leading Node.js event in Europe, between 3rd-5th October at the the Lyrath Estate Hotel in Kilkenny, Ireland.

NearForm had the pleasure of hosting the first ever NodeConf event (known as Node Dublin at the time) at the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin back in 2012; we’re delighted to have come full circle and to be back in Ireland hosting once again.

This year’s event is also particularly special as we join together to celebrate NodeConf’s 10th year!

We’ve shaken up the format of this year’s NodeConf compared to previous years. Read on to discover what’s in store.

As well as celebrating NodeConf’s 10th year, NodeConf 2022 also marks our first in-person event since 2019.

In light of the success of our virtual NodeConf events over the past two years and to recognise and continue to engage our online audience, this year’s NodeConf will be a hybrid event for everyone to enjoy.

If you’ve attended NodeConf before, you’ll no doubt be raring to go, but if not, here’s a brief rundown of what you can expect this year!

NodeConf features insightful and inspirational keynote talks from Node.js experts on topical and pressing topics within the community, providing food for thought and prompting discussion.

But that’s not all—NodeConf also delivers educational, practical workshops run by experts to help you upskill and embrace all that Node.js has to offer, both now and in the future.

Later in the day, you can expect to enjoy a variety of evening entertainment to break the ice.

Speaking of breaking the ice, NodeConf is the perfect opportunity to connect with like-minded people across Europe among the Node.js community in a relaxed and friendly environment.
