We are delighted to announce Node Week.
Node week is a series of Node related talks from April 10th – 14th. Join nearForm’s Cian O’Maidin, Luca Maraschi, David Mark Clements and Matteo Collina along with more soon to be announced guests. The talks will focus on topics from logging to Hapi.js and everything in between. Our speakers will be delving into some real life experiences and sharing what they have learned along the way.
Introducing some of our first speakers:
Matteo will be speaking on Monday the 10th of April at 14:00 GMT (09:00 EST). He will be sharing his knowledge on logging and especially his logger Pino. Pino is 17 times faster than traditional loggers, it logs in JSON and can be integrated with Hapi and Express.
Luca’s talk “SWIMming in the Microservices ocean” will be on Wednesday the 12th of April at 14:00 GMT (09:00 EST). The audience is going to learn how streams can “swim” in the network, how to scale the application state and how to operate such an architecture at (business)scale.
James’ talk will cover three basic areas 1) A high level overview of the HTTP/2 protocol and how it differs from HTTP v1.1. 2) The current status of our efforts to implement HTTP/2 in Node.js core & 3) The current proposed timeline and process for landing the HTTP/2 implementation and making it available for folks to use.
More speakers have been announced. Check out our website for more info!
